Beau is head dog and leader of the Akale pack. At home Beau lies around snoozing in the best position in the house like the king he is, and heaven help the younger pack members if they annoy him. They are chastised in Beau’s own way, and no one challenges his authority.

Beau has the best temperament and personality you could ask for; he is laid back and easy going and rarely every troubled by anyone or anything. 

Life with Beau is so easy, he is no trouble at all, and where his dad is concerned can do no wrong – there is always a sandwich crust left in Mark’s lunchbox especially for Beau each night.  Food is one of Beau’s greatest pleasures and he knows when 4 o'clock comes around as he wants his dinner. Stealing a drink of your coffee just makes his day.  

His easy going temperament means that whether on a lap or a lounge, the comfort afforded is just for him.

Whether at home or a show Beau will dig at your pockets as if to say "where's my treats" and is most persistent until you give in and give him the treat he knows is just for him.

Beau is fourteen years old now and is retired from the show ring so he can enjoy the rest of his life they way he wants to. For him it is the simple pleasures of snoozing on mum's pillow on mum and dad's bed to sleep the day away until it is time for his dinner followed by some cuddles before he retires for the evening.
